The Snowy River Wool Horse Rug is a thick natural 450gsm wool fabric that provides warmth without the weight by trapping heat in the natural fibers but allowing the skin to breathe.

A fitted contour design with shoulder gusset, tail darts, and double chest straps, removable leg straps, satin lined chest, full binding, and reinforced back binding. All rugs have had an upgrade with the strength of the adjustable leg straps increased as well as extra heavy-duty clips. This fabric is nice and thick and very durable with a wonderful feel for your horse.

Wool really is the best

We absolutely love this rug, wool has natural breathing qualities that mean our horse is not overheated or wet in our changing environment. The size was slightly on bigger side. But this rug is superior to the others we’ve tried.
